The Seahawks will square off against the 49ers at Seahawks Stadium in the NFC Championship game this Sunday. The game is so much more than punching a ticket to New Jersey. The thought of Jim Harbaugh holding high above his head the George Halas trophy upon the 50-yard line of Seahawks Stadium keeps me awake at night.
Imagine sitting in your living room late in the evening and there is a knock at the door. You know better, but go ahead and open the door. You are stormed by masked men with knives and guns. They shove you to the ground and try to restrain you with handcuffs. Your wife and kids are screaming in the background. One of the bad guys knocks the cell phone out of your wife’s hand as she was trying to call 911. At that moment, you know if these MF’ers get those handcuffs on you, some bad shit is about to happen to your family. You can not allow that to happen and you will not allow that to happen. And this is exactly how I feel about this game on Sunday.
What are you willing to do stop this? The answer is anything. As one caller stated so eloquently to the Brock and Danny show this week, “If I am not tasting blood in my throat by the 2nd Quarter, I don’t deserve to call myself a 12th Man.”
